Quick and easy breakfast that tastes wonderful! Any juice or nut will work fine here.
1 cup oatmeal
1 cup fresh orange juice
2 walnuts broken in small pieces
1 tbs date pieces
Combine all in a bowl and let set for 15-30 minutes till oatmeal has absorbed juice. S-o-o-o-o good!!
Actually you can buy raw rolled oats from Alissa Cohen's website which would be great with this recipe, just might need to soak them longer. Sounds delicious, next time I get some I'll try it!
Oatmeal is not raw!! Unless the oats are raw, soaked and sprouted for easy digestion. This recipe should be modified or removed.
