easy asparagus

2-4better than cooked asparagus!
Ingredients:
1 bunch asparagus, cutinto about 1 inch lengths
1 clove garlic, pressed
1 lemon,
juiced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon himalayan pink salt crystals
Preparation:
chop and salt the asparagus and set aside. wisk together olive oil, lemon juice and garlic pour over asparagus and allow to marinade in the fridge for at least an hour. this is also great the next day.

This was real nice and a treat. Though I found that the top bit (spears) less delicious in comparison to its stem. It becomes a little powdery after marinating it for sometime. Next time, I will save the spears for some other things..

no, i just wash them really well, and i use the top half and discard the bottom.

I can't wait to try this. Do you peel your asparagus before you marinade it? I also like the dehydrator idea too. I'll try it both ways! Asparagus has always been a favorite of mine.

Beautiful! I have a bunch in the fridge I was wondering how to use. I think I will warm them in the dehydrator though as roasted was my favorite way to eat these.
