A super quick and easy sauce to pour over raw cucumber or zucchini pasta
2 Tomatoes, Chopped
1 Clove Garlic, Chopped
Small slice of jalapeno, chopped
2 basil leaves
dash of sea salt
Take all ingredients, and process in food processer. Then you have a quick, easy marinara sauce, ready for your pasta. This can also be eaten as a tomato soup!!
The sauce was a light red...I guess it would be pink to some. I thought it was really good though, and thought it was quite pretty, especially with the chunks of green in it from the basil. I really need to take some pics, but I only have a camera on my phone, which doesn't take the best pics. I will have one on soon I'm sure.
Without sundried tomatoes, doesn't the sauce turn pink? I tried making tomato sauce like this before without sundried tomatoes, and the color was a light pink. I mean, the taste was excellent, but I was visually turned off.
You're welcome! I made it in one of my raw foods classes, with the macadamia cheese sauce on top of the marinara, all on top of zucchini noodles.
I can't wait to try this when my tomatoes ripen. thanks for the great recipe.
This sounds very easy with no exotic ingredients that can be found in any country on any continent (even where I am living for the moment).
