A raw version of “Fruit Roll-Ups.” Maybe a great alternative for school snacks?

Recipe Directions

1. Process all ingredients in a food processor until pureed.

2. Pour on a Teflex sheet.

3. Dehydrate at 105 Fahrenheit for about 12 hours, or until able to easily peel off Teflex sheet.

4. Use pizza cutter to cut into 2 x 5 inch sheets and store in air-tight snack-sized Ziploc baggies.

Note:

Dehydrating time depends on thickness of puree on Teflex sheet.

This looks really good and easy to take along when traveling (I'm always looking for easy raw snacks to carry around with me). Have you tried this with other fruits as well?

I grew up on fruit leathers. Our faves were plums (or prunes) mixed with pears is really yummy. Just straight prunes is strong but good. Pear is gritty but sweet.

Yes! fruit rolls rock the mullet. What makes it even better is that you dehydrated them at a very low heat, which means more nutrition is saved,

I did Rassberries with a little banana for the texture. I learned that for some the little seeds are bothersome so I might strain them out and make it smoother. They really do travel well, even smooshed in the bottom of a back pack!! I was suprised!
