Garlic Flax Crackers
A really nice, crisp garlic cracker. The garlic gives them a “buttery” taste =D
I love putting some avocado slices on top and eating them like that.
1 cup flax seed, soaked about 4 hours
1½ tablespoon sesame seeds, soaked with the flax
4 cherry
tomatoes
½ clove garlic
¼ red bell pepper
a few slices jalapeno
sprinkle sea
salt
sprinkle cracked black pepper
I throw everything into a blender and blend it until it’s creamy. Sometimes, I have to add a little water to it if it’s too thick.
Then pour onto Teflex sheets. I use a spatula/scraper to
spread it to about an 1/8 to 1/4 inch think.
I dehydrate for about 2 to 3 hours at 95 degrees. At that point, I can score them with a pizza cutter. I dry for about another hour or so before taking them off of the Teflex sheet and placing them on the regular rack. It takes about another hour or so before they are done. You can dehydrate at a higher temp for a shorter period. And even take them off earlier so that they will be more pliable and use them as wraps!
