Golden Tahini Pear Cookies
I’m constantly amazed at how many places I find Raw Living Recipes. This one came from Backhome Magazine. A Great way to use up overripe pears.
3 cup very ripe pear pieces
1 cup raw tahini or raw almond butter
1 cup raw honey or agava
1 cup raw coconut flakes
1 juice from one lemon
Pulse all ingredients together in a food processor, except the optional chopped nuts or raisins – stir those into the mixture by hand after everything else has been well incorporated in the processor. Put cookie-sized dollops onto a dehydrator sheets and dehydrate for 6-8 hours at 105/110F. Or 1/3 hours in a oven at lowest setting, with oven door ajar.
Optional 1/4 cup chopped cashews or almonds and 1/4 cup golden raisins
