Gooseskin soup
Servings:
Makes 1 big bowl or 3 small ones. This mind-uplifting soup was inspired by radish_manīs energy-soup.
I just used what i found and it became instantly
delicious.
Gave me a full-grown gooseskin after half the bowl, hence the name.
Ingredients:
1 avocado
1 cucumber
1 clove garlic
juice of one
orange
2 handful soysprouts
¼ cup strong ginger tea
a bit sage (salvia officinalis) and thymian
½ cup tea of sage, thymian and
juniper-berries (may be sweetened with elderflower-syrup)
½ tablespoon chai-spice mix (chili instead of all-spice)
a few cumin and fennel-seeds (optional)
1 dash soysauce
(optional)
1 teaspoon sesame oil
Preparation:
Blend everything in a jar, add the avocado though at last
May be served with swedish knaeckebrot.

Knaeckebrot is unfortunately non-raw, maybe somebody finds a substitute.
I came to doing this soup everyday now, with little variations.
Today it went down nicely with some linseeds.

Thanks emmgee! That bread looks really great- kind of like peacock skin. One side of my family is from Gottenburg but I have never been there.

The Soysprouts i got in Hamburg at a few Chinese and Thai supermarkets, now in Barcelona i found only one Chinese that keeps them in stock.
The Herbs i get from one of the many "Herbolaristariaīs", if you can find it, you may try "clary sage" (a form of salvia).
Knaeckebrot is a Skandinavian speciality, cracker-like really dry bred, consisting at best only from rye, yeast, salt and spices (it is shown in the new picture). Down here in Spain i have to get it from Ikea, as well the elderflower-syrup.

HI! I am wondering about the soy sprouts. I have never seen those. Do you buy them, sprout them yourself, and where do you get the seeds? Do you buy your tea or make it from scratch? This sounds good but kind of hard to get some of the ingredients. What is knaeckebrot? Thanks!
