"Got me through class" Smoothie

Serves 1Mildly sweet and satisfying green smoothie. Excellent way to start the day. This smoothie got me through 4 hours of class…including a really dull physiology lecture about the renal system. If it can do that, I am sure it will be a great addition to anyone’s day.
Ingredients:
1 Blood Orange, Peeled and divided into sections
1 Pineapple, Peeled and cut into cubes
1 Handful Mixed
Greens
1 tablespoon Protein Powder of Choice, I used Vanilla Brown Rice Protein
1 tablespoon Ground Flax
1 cup Filtered Water
Preparation:
Put everything in the blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!

Nutribiotic Brown Rice Protein is processed using enzymes (not heated) and is considered raw.

Some protein powders are raw. I used Hemp Protein Powder from Manitoba Harvest, and it is cold-milled. Not sure about Vanilla Brown Rice Protein Powder, though.

sounds delicious! i'm going to sub hemp seeds for the protein powder. hopefully this will get me through 4 hours of class too. thanks!
