1 cold hungry me

Awoke this morning to a frigid zero degrees and needed a warm breakfast. I am sure you could make a hundred and one variations - and would love to hear them all as I settle into the cold weather for the next four months!!
Will add a pic when I make it again in a prettier bowl.

Ingredients:

2 bananas
1/2 cup almond milk (or equivilent)
1/4 cup dried apple juice sweetened dried cranberries (or other dried fruit)

Preparation:

slice both bananas, put in bowl.
heat almond milk to just over body temp (I did 100)
pour milk over bananas
top with dried friut
grab a spoon and dig in!!

I am living in Amsterdam ( Netherlands) and becoming more and more raw. I really feel good about it and more energetic but have a lot of difficulty in keeping warm myself. We've gone below zero here too and winter hasn't even started yet!! It is still very tempting for me to go for other types of food that might make me feel wamer. So thanks for this recipy. I will definitely try it.
Any other recipes that would tide me over during these very cold winters, would be very welcome to me. Am looking forward in hearing more tips.

I'm making this soon. It's only 20-30 here in Maryland but it still feels frigid. Thanks Shazam!

I also do something that looks a lot like that, but I add about 1 tablespoon of ground chia seeds to the warm milk. It thickens in a couple of minutes and makes a nice porridge. Then I add the sliced bananas and toppings. Yummy!
When I want to be very fancy, I add cacao nibs and chopped hazelnuts on top of the bananas. Even if i have breakfast at 6 AM, it gives me energy to last until lunch!

never used buckwheat berries...would it add a crunch?

I think the texture is kind of like cream of wheat....
