Horchata de Melon

Serves 6Ingredients:
1 cup Cantaloupe Seeds, rinsed
Zest of lime
6 cup Water
Fresh Stevia Leaves or
Raw Agave
Preparation:
Rinse the cantaloupe seeds and add to blender with a little bit of water. Blend really well.
Combine with the rest of the water in a pitcher with the lime zest and sweetener. Allow to sit in the fridge for 4 hours.
Strain and serve.

Ok, so I tried it. Maybe I did something wrong, it was a little bland. I added more agave and it was better.

My compost did an amazing thing. It grew cantaloupe. I transfered it to a pot and depending on the weather we may have fresh melon in a while. Now back to the horchata. I have new melon seeds. Take three.

My melon seeds have been sent to the compost twice.

Now I know what to do with all those cantaloupe seeds! Can I use seeds of a cantaloupe that is commercially grown and not organic/

Wow this sounds yummy I love melons. Soup with lime and some sweetener, yum When I get home I am going to make this and post photos here
