Servings:
5-6 sandwichesThis is a spin-off from my banana pancakes recipe.
Ingredients:
3 bananas
1 cup flaxseed
1 cup wheat germ
6 tablespoon raw cacao or
carob powder
banana ice cream
Preparation:
Blend the bananas, then add the flaxseed, wheat germ, and cacao. Form into balls and place on teflex sheet. Flatten them into patties with a spatula. Dehydrate for 8 hours at 105 degrees, flipping half way. Make ice cream by blending frozen bananas and then form the sandwiches and enjoy!

i don't like bananas either but i found young coconut meat and soaked cashews is a yummy vanilla ice cream

z~ I bet this would be great with your favorite fruit ice cream or like a vanilla flavored nut/grain milk. Oooooh... add a little mint to a nut milk ice cream...with chocolate chips... The possibilities are only limited by your imagination... :-)

bananas are not my favorite... too bad; looks very presentable
6.
Another chocolate idea... dip the whole thing in the Raw Chocolate recipe. This would make a hard chocolate coating... yum! Never enough chocolate. lol
7.
How did you get the sides so nice and straight? Very professional looking!
I can see doing this and then rolling the ice cream part in walnuts or another nut or for more chocolate (never enough for me) in powdered cocoa.
