lemony chiks pate
for a long time i failed to make a pate that suited my tongue’s tastebuds. somehow nothing tasted quite right. and sometimes they felt heavy in my stomach until this one!!! full of light! its good to know your own body, and callibrate it to your
tastes.
i even put it on kelp and zuk noodles and it was lush. its even better the next day.
1 cup sunflower seeds, sprout these
pinch of salt
water
1 small red onion,
chopped roughly
1 lemon, to squeeze
handful of cilantro, chopped roughly
pepper, to season
its sooooooooo easy!
1. save a pinch of sunflower aside. blend rest of sprouted sunflower seeds with half the amount of onions and water (judge consistency) until its pulpy looking.
2. add half lemon juice ( i put 1 lemon cos i like it sour) and pulse.
3. further chop rest of onions till they are cubey. put pate in bowl, stir in onions and cilantro. and season to taste.
thats just three steps! dont add too much water!

Lovely. With the problems with the almonds and finding real raw nuts, I've been falling back a lot on my sunflower seeds, so I need the recipes for them! Thank you.
