Submitted by ambergirl on February 28, 2008 - 10:11pm
Servings:
makes about 6 slices, or one full trayAbout 1.5 cups of raw wheat berries (soaked overnight)
1/2 cup of wet sunflower seed pulp (from making milk perhaps)
2 teaspoons of sea
salt
1 squirt of agave nectar
1/4 olive oil
Preparation:
Take wheat berries and dump out water, and place in blender.
Blend until dough like. You may need to add some water.
Add in sunflower
seed pulp. Blend.
Add in salt, nectar and oil. Blend.
Spread out on teflon sheet, and dehydrate at 105 overnight, and then cut into slices and flip. Dehydrate for about 2 more hours, and Voila! Bread!! it’s SOOOOOOO good! I’m on my second batch!
I’ve added more agave and then cinnamon and raisins to this batch!
yummy!!
pictures to come. Promise!

Hmmm. So, if I have just made rejuvelac I could go ahead and use the water for rejuvelac and the sprouted berries for this recipe? I sure hope so!! That would be great! Feed two birds with one seed!

This looks lovely and one of the lighter bread recipes! Amber, could you label it as light? Many thanks for your recipe!

Sounds good, nice and simple.

I'll try this tomorrow! Let you know how it turns out. I don't have a dehydrator, so I use plates on my radiator and when I sleep I put it in the slightly ajar oven with the light turned on cuz I turn off the heater at night.
