I made this one day just trying to figure out a way to use up some walnuts that I had laying around.   My husband tried them and that's what he thought it tasted like, which I think they do, too.

Recipe Directions

1. Ground up walnuts in smaller pieces.

2. in a separate bowl mix up honey or maple syrup, cinnamon, and raisins.

3. Add walnuts a little at a time while stirring. The mixture should be soft and mushy, and able to stick together well like wet sand.

4. Put in the dehydrator at 105 Fahrenheit for approximately 24 hours. Enjoy!\

Notes:

The measurements are just estimated. I just kind of threw it all together by my tastes.

It worked best for me when there was enough honey to make it soft and mushy. I know these aren’t exactly oatmeal cookies either.

Thank you for the recipie AliciaD =)

I made these cookies today. They're very sweet with the honey and raisins. I might use less honey next time. But they are so yummy! I love the cinnamon and raisin flavour.

Hi I am going to try this. My boyfriend has a sweet tooth and I need to keep a cookie jar full of cookies available so he won't eat a whole bag of chip ahoy or something!
