I am originally from New York, and when I first went vegetarian, all those many moons ago the one thing I really missed was a nice Kosher Pastrami sandwich, with a potato Knish and a Doctor Brown’s Cream Soda. Whenever I come close to that texture, I try my hand and recreating that experience.
Not exactly a rousing success, but this recipe still makes a Nice sandwich
ALL TO TASTE
a bissil (a little bit) or more, onions, chopped
celtic sea salt
Hot Peppers, chopped finely
oyster mushrooms, sliced
Combine first 8 ingredients. add Oyster Mushrooms. Marinate, drain, pat dry and Serve.
