Riversanctuary's Thoughts
By riversanctuaryAdding to the many “blissful” smoothie recipes on this site, here is my favorite smoothie recipe.
It is so delicious and smooth. I love to drink one in the morning and have a second one in my mug at work chilling in the fridge.
Drinking it in the afternoon is an amazingly refreshing experience, like a dive in a fresh mountain stream among the beautiful trees—really! :)
Hope you enjoy this as much as I do!
The omega-3’s always help me feel calm and energetic and this is a great way to get them in.
The collards are an excellent green to use because they are very mild and keep well in the fridge but are still healthy and delicious.

Sorry everyone--I forgot the most important ingredient in my favorite smoothies besides bananas--the almond milk! It really makes it creamy and I feel better because I have less of a blood sugar swing when I drink alot of it.

I'm so glad! They've really revolutionized my smoothies! (Now I can enjoy the kale as a wilted salad!). :) Enjoy!
