Recipe Directions

1. Place all into a food processor and chop till fine and comes together. If mixture does not come together, add a little milk or water (I added about 2 tablespoons in total, adding it one tablespoon at a time).

2. When mixture comes together, push into small pie plates (mine were 4-inches/10-centimeters across the base) and refrigerate. Mixture should hold together enough to form little clusters.

3. Place clusters onto dehydrator tray and dry till desired texture is achieved.

Frangipanni's Thoughts

By frangipanni

I made this because i wanted a crust that used less nuts (calorie value).

I used the crust for a banana, avocado, and blueberry pie and topped it with the dehydrated crumble. It was delicious.

This is my first attempt at a raw recipe and I was pleasantly surprised by my creation.

I think my oats qualify as ‘raw’ as they are groats put through rollers that are cold and just squashed.

The picture shows the crust in a deep pie plate. I did not turn the crust out of the pie shell. Just ate from it.

This looks really yummy! I've also been looking for some pie crusts with less nuts, so this will work out great for me! Thanks for the recipe...
