Hi zhanna8! It's been almost 3 months and finally I was able to try this recipes. Thumbs up! I loved it, and with my mother and husband did too. Then only things I didn't have camu camu so I subbed with maca. The color looked just like the color shown in your photo. Just wonderful. Thanks.

Oh my gosh, I love pomegranates, Erewhen and my hometown L.A.! There is a pomegranate tree in my father's backyard in Los Angeles. The drink looks so pretty, sounds wonderful and I'm sure it taste fantastic. Thanks for sharing your recipe.

Thank you for your comments... I liked blending it because you will get benefits of seeds which are even more valuable, whereas juicing it with cheese cloth won’t do. But again – it is matter of preference.

here what i posted on camu camu - it is one of super foods! It is extraordinary with endless list of assets and benefits with no surprising coming from Amazon rainforest. I find it combining with other super food like blueberries and chocolate makes it way more superior any else you might adventure out. I have a Nature’s First Law and bought it in Erewhon, natural heath store in Los Angeles. Here’s more info – fascinating http://www.essentiallivingfoods.com/products-functional-food-cam... http://www.wholeworldbotanicals.com/herbal_camucamu.html

Also, I had never heard of Camu Camu before this recipe. I see it comes in different forms. Which form to you suggest? (powder? whole fruit? other?) What does it taste like? Thankx.

This sounds so yummy. For a cool way to extract pomegranate kernels, check out (don't laugh) Martha Stewart's website.
Would it work to smooch the kernels in a very fine seive or cheese cloth to extract the juice and putting the juice only in the blender with the rest of the stuff? I would use a clean, nylon paint strainer (that has never seen paint) to extract the juice. They are cheap and durable.
