1 apple, peeled 1 banana, peeled 1 cup kale, washed 1 cup spring
I got the straw from a friend who got it at an Irving station
They sell these straws at asian markets.
bubble tea shops have those straws for free...with the purchase of there non-vegan bubble tea ^.^ but you can grab like 5 for the heck of it
they sell straws like that. i got mine at the supermarket, but i took the liberty to include a link http://www.thekitchenstore.com/prmist.html.
Sweet! This is close to what I made for breakfast! I added 1/2 cup of blueberries instead of apple, and 1/3 cup or so of orange juice and 1/2 cup of water. It's AWESOME!
Mmmm, sounds good!
I work in a coffeeshop and our straws are that size, and colorful like that. I assume we get them from US Food Service.
I once went to a juice/smoothie bar, I believe Thai-based, called Bubble Bliss. Bubble Bliss sold "bubbles" as an option for your smoothie or frozen juice drink, I think made of tapioca, which were about the size of that straw. They gave you big
straws so you could suck up the bubbles that would chill at the bottom of your drink. So someone does market them, they are probably available by the case in an online food service supply store. I collected more than a few, they really are amazing for smoothies and thick drinks..
I agree regarding the big, fat straws. I haven't been able to find any nice big ones for smoothies.
Is that straw really that big? If not, maybe someone should market big fat straws.!
nice pic. huge straw! I want one of those.
