This is a wonderful breakfast food that is good for you and energizing!

Recipe Directions

Soak the oats overnight in just enough water to cover

In the morning drain them in a strainer and place in a blender or food processor (my blender is not very powerful so I used a processor)

Add 1/2 hot water, vanilla and walnuts and process until incorporated. you do not want to pulverize unless you are desiring a more "shredded wheat" type consistency.

Transfer to bowl and top with syrup or agave and any garnish of your choice. I used dried cranberries but you can add shredded apples, cinnamon, or any other dried/fresh fruit.

you can try almond mylk instead of water.... yummm and I use fresh orange juice instead of water there too =)
