Servings:
2 1 cup servingsOne of my favorite cooked meals was sauteed string beans, I figured why can't I make the same dish but without the heat. Truth be told it's much better raw - there is a delightful crunch to the raw style sauteed string beans.
Ingredients:
2 cups string beans
2 TBS olive oil
Garlic powder
Sea Salt
Preparation:
Sprinkle the string beans with salt and garlic powder, massage into the green beans. Sprinkle with olive oil. Place in a closed container and shake it up. I usually make this after work and leave it out for a few hours to let the string beans soak in the olive oil, but then I put it in the fridge before I go to bed.

2. Do you know if you freeze
Do you know if you freeze string beans over night they will be slightly soft when thawed? I usually put a cheese over the beans, but marinating them will be another way of preparing them. ....Thanks
3. Thanks for the recipe. Made
Thanks for the recipe. Made this for lunch (the night before). I added some raisins and it was delicious. It was the perfect way to finish off the string beans I had in the fridge.
