Red Cabbage Slaw
I’m trying to satisfy my cravings for ethnic foods but still stay raw :)
1 head Red Cabbage, Shredded fine
1 cup Granny Smith Apples, chopped
1 cup lemon
juice
2 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tablespoon Caraway Seeds
1 bag Or Bunch of Fresh Dill, chopped
This recipe calls for half a head of cabbage: Shred Cabbage thinly into a bowl. Cut chunks from the cored apple (leave skin on) and mix in. (Optional, not raw:Pour over about half a cup of vinegar) Pour over cup of lemon juice, and about 2 TBSP of Olive Oil. Chop fresh dill and fold in. Take about 1 TBSP of caraway seeds and rub them in your palms and fold into the mix. Garnish with sea salt or white pepper if you like. Leave in fridge for half a day. Mix further and leave in for another half a day.
