Simple Sesame Zucchini
Well, my refrigerator died yesterday and I just needed to use & prepare what survived.
Zucchini ‘noodles’ can be prepared so many different ways. This is similar to how I make seaweed ‘noodles’ (aka ‘salad’) and this is so easy. If you like Sesame oil & seeds you will probably enjoy it. Cheers!
Zucchini - 1 medium, peel, rinse, & julienne into 'noodles'
Raw Cold-pressed Sesame Oil, 1 TBSP
Fresh Ginger Root -at least
a 1 inch piece, grated or finely sliced
Sesame Seeds - tan +/or black ones, 1 TBSP
Bragg's liquid aminos OR Sea Salt, to taste, just a spritz or a pinch (respectively)
Just toss the ingredients together as listed. For preparing the Zucchini as ‘noodles’ just use a cheese-grater or julienne peeler. If you are lucky and you have a spiralizer, manoline, or Saladaco (sp?) then you can make them
fancier.
For more of a kick – you could add some organic Red Pepper Flakes to
taste.
If you don’t have fresh ginger you could use organic ground ginger powder (or omit it altogether if you don’t care for ginger). I just love the stuff.

Hi smarinalee, actually I just love the photo. I've never tried absinthe. It would be something I would try though (even if it's not 'raw'). I chose greenghost as my user name because it was my favorite board-game when I was little.

:-)
Is Absinthe on you icon why you name yourself "GreenGhost"?

Sedame and Zucchini is very good match... always comes out good in any shape and form... love to make tahini and zucchini into non-bean hummus. Pills are good though, assuming you use organic. THANK YOU!
