Simply Decadent Caramel Apple Dip
Servings:
1 serving if you are meHoly sweet-tooth luxury!
This is a dangerous recipe to make more of if you are alone in the house. Really much better than SAD caramel sauce.
It goes best with tart green apples.
Ingredients:
4 tablespoon tahini
3 tablespoon maple (maple best for real carmel taste)
4 medjool
dates
1 teaspoon Celtic sea salt
dash vanilla, OPTIONAL
tart green apples, sliced for dipping
Preparation:
I THINK these are the measurements I used (-ish)...maybe more
tahini.
Adjust for your own sweet-salty-tart-tooth.
Process till dates are fully blended in (it’s nice to soak dried dates in lemon-water for an hour before mixing in). I like a little more salt – like 1 1/4 tsp…that really goes awesome with the sweetness,

Hi Linda,
the apples are just for dipping.
WARNING TO ALL - it's addictive (i had to ban myself from buying more tahini)

This is great! Just in time for Halloween! :) I had a Raw Caramel Chocolate Brownie at a raw place a few months ago and the caramel part was so good. I always guessed it was made of dates and maybe agave but I wasn't sure what else! I am going to make this for the next raw potluck! :) Thanks!

Are the apples part of the recipe or just used for dipping as you show in the delicious looking picture?

I don't actually like caramel but that looks SO good.
