Sinfully Nutritious Raw Chocolates
An awesome method for getting your daily helping of nutritious “superfoods”. I love having it for breakfast!
2 tablespoon raw cacao powder (you can use carob-but c'mon, we're keepin' it real here)
1 teaspoon lecithin granules--I know, not raw, but still very healthy and marvelous for texture,
ground fine
1 tablespoon EVCO (extra-virgin coconut oil) , :-D
1 tablespoon or so agave or maple syrup
dash cayenne, for a nice kick and the anti-inflammatory
properties
1 teaspoon spirulina powder, (trust me, you won't be able to see or taste it!)
pinch himalayan sea salt
½ handful of slivered almonds, optional
In a bowl, blend all dry ingredients together gently with a fork, getting out any lumps; you can push the mix through a sieve if you like. Next, add in the EVCO and the agave/maple (maple, though not truly raw, will make the chocolate a little firmer in the end), and if using, throw in the almonds as well. Stir thouroughly for about thirty seconds, and, if you still have a stove like me, turn on a burner to a low setting and hold the bowl over the burner for about 20 seconds—this will make it way easier to pur into molds. Using any kind of plastic, ceramic, etc. mold you have (I used a rinsed out godiva chocolate container leftover from my non-raw mother’s secret stash!), Pour the mix into molds. Pop into the freezer, and chill for about 25 minutes. Remove the pieces from the mold, and succumb to the heavenly bliss that is cacao…

I made something similar to that last month, except without the spirulina or lecithin(don't have either here). I had added some almound flour and coconut and formed little balls out of it. Yummy :) This recipe reminds me I have a new bag of raw chocolate waiting to be used!

I'm not sure what you mean by not raw at all, with the exception of the lecithin, which is really optional, everything can be found raw and organic. One could even substitute the agave with homemade date syrup if they're concerned with the fiberless sugar in agave. thanks for the comments though!
