Servings:
serves 1 or 2I made this the other day, and it was really good. Warning, it’s pretty hot!
Ingredients:
1 head Collard greens
2 tablespoon Hemp oil
2 tablespoon cold pressed olive
oil
2 clove garlic, crushed
1 Habenaro, crushed in garlic press
celtic sea salt, to taste, or none
4 tablespoon Hemp
seeds
2 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Preparation:
for salad:
Remove the stem from the collards, I save stems for juicing, then roll up and chop in thin shreds, put in bowl, and toss with hemp seeds.
For dressing:
combine oils, crushed garlic, crushed habenaro, lemon and salt. whisk. adjust to taste.
pour the dressing over greens, and let them marinate in fridge for 6 hours to overnight. Before serving toss again to coat.

This looks great! I love hot stuff and will have to try this.

I hate collard greens, so I did this with kale and I had no hemp seed and it was great.

simple, delicious and healthful. Used only olive oil and fresh cayenne instead of habanero. Good eating.

this was soooooo good. i made the recipe minus the hemp seeds [out of them at the moment!] i was thoroughly impressed. mmmm delicious.

This was good. I couldn't find a garlic press over here, so unfortunately I had to dice the garlic and pepper, which probably made it even hotter I think. I also tried grapeseed oil instead of olive oil, which might have made the taste a bit more "dry." But it was good - I think next time I'll try the olive oil and get a garlic press, and sprinkle in a bit more salt.

This was definitely hot, but also good in an addictive sort of way - I kept trying bites throughout the marinating process. This was also my first time using hemp and hemp seeds - they have a surprisingly mild, nutty flavor. I'd love to learn more recipes using these ingredients now that I have them on hand!
