My first green smoothie recipe to make! Very yummy and energizing. My favorite fruit smoothie was always Strawberry Banana with a bit of orange, so I added the spinach and it was a winner! This smoothie keeps well overnight in the fridge for a great ‘to go’ breakfast.
1 small banana, or 1/2 large one
3 HUGE strawberries(a good handful), frozen
as much spinach as you can cram (about 2 - 3 large handfuls)
1/2 cup fresh orange juice
Place everything in the blender and pulse until the spinach is broken down enough to blend. Blend until no more little pieces of spinach are left floating around or you’re in for a surprise at the end of your smoothie (ew)!
