Servings:
Makes 2 Pint GlassesA delicious morning smoothie that satisfies your cravings until lunch quite well!
Ingredients:
¼ cup almonds
½ teaspoon spirulina
½ teaspoon greener grasses, (or any green
superfood blend)
1 banana
.33 pound strawberries, or blueberries
.33 pound frozen fruit
1¼ cup almond milk, or other nut
milk
1 teaspoon rice protein powder, optional
1 teaspoon soy lecithin
2 ice cubes, optional
Preparation:
Simply throw all ingredients in a blender, blend for 15-30 seconds, and serve.
This was inspired by a recipe Kandace taught me, but I’ve evolved it a bit. The point is just to make a raw, healthy, satisfying smoothie in the morning.

I just made this for a lite lunch and it is fabulous! Followed the recipe above except I used Alive! for the greener grasses because I had a little free sample of it. It was apple-cinnamon flavor so I added 1/2 chopped apple along with the small banana and some blueberries. Mom's apple pie flavor with a hint of blueberry.

Hi! No cocoa powder... I think the color you're seeing is just the strawberries and frozen cranberries I've used.

Aweomse your recipes are BACK!. sorry for exageration. I think I will use young coconut milk as a nut milk and leave out the almonds because of my intolerance to nuts. Did you add cocoa powder, because it looks brown, like chocolate?
Thanks.
