I have been really into green smoothies the past few days. Here's one that I am particularly fond of:
2 bananas
1/2 ripe mango
about 2 cups chopped fresh pineapple
3-4 stalks kale
handful of ice (I didn't use ice but my smoothie could have used a chill)
a little bit of water to get things moving.
Throw everything in a blender. Blend and enjoy!
I give it an 11 ! Fab. I love it! I just might start a juice feast today!
This is one of my favorite green smoothies too! When we get mangoes I find myself making this exact same thing except I add a touch of either black currants or gooseberries (we freeze them for winter use in smoothies from our bushes). Sometimes using frozen bananas gives it a nice dimension too.
Delicious!!! Freeze the bananas for the chill!
