1-4This is based on/inspired by roshi' Kung Wow Veggies. I am always in the mood for chinese and ethnic flavors. It reminds me of lo mein I used to get at a chinese place in Boston. This took about 5 mintues or less and it's so yummy. Thanks Roshi! And thanks me!
Ingredients:
1 1/2 tbsp Braggs Liquid Aminos
1 1/2 tbsp Ume Plum Vinegar
1 tbsp Agave
Nectar
2 tsp Sesame Oil
1/4 tsp powdered ginger (didn't have fresh;bummer!) use fresh if you have/like it
1 zucchini – small julienne on mandoline
1 carrot – small julienne on mandoline
1/2 cup sliced white
mushrooms
1/2 cup sugar snap peas in pod, whole
Preparation:
Mix and eat. (You could let it marinate and soften the veggies a bit if you like. 1/2 hour room temp)

I just got a spiralizer this week and this was my try-it-out recipe. Both worked out lovely.
I didn't have the plum vinegar so used ACV instead; I imagine the plum gives it more of a fragrant flavour but the Apple was okay. Didn't have the peas but red pepper strips added some colour contrast in their stead.
Very useful recipe, thanks emilyjayne! I look forward to trying this out with other veggies and flavours, too.

I have a spiralizer and didn't even think to use it! That would be awesome too guys!
4. I use one of these Julienne
I use one of these Julienne Peelers instead of a spiralizer, and I love it! It's way cheaper, and it works for wraps, salads, and lots of other things instead of just spiralizing (although I must admit that if I had the budget for it, I would have both ^_^).

Or you can get a spiralizer... I love mine! I have the Regular Spiralizer, not the Angel Hair one. Matt Monarch sometimes has them on sale - i got mine for $22 about 8 months ago.
6. A mandoline (French
A mandoline (French [mÉÌdo'lin]; English [mæn doÊ 'lɪn]) is a kitchen utensil used for slicing and cutting juliennes; with proper attachments, it can make crinkle-cuts. It consists of two parallel working surfaces, one of which can be adjusted in height. A food item is slid along the adjustable surface until it reaches a blade mounted on the fixed surface, slicing it and letting it fall.

I have a cheap $20 one which works just great. You can get expensive ones in upwards of $300! Crazy.
You could just julienne them all by hand if you like. The teeny-tiny of the zuchinni makes the noodley texture though.
