A hearty and sweet snack.
Ingredients:
5 re-hydrated figs
4 dried, pitted dates
¼ C. dried currents
2 apples
Preparation:
In food processor, blend figs, dates, and currents into a paste. Remove and set aside. Process apples in food processor until smooth. Add paste to apples- a little at a time. Process until smooth and creamy. Spread thin on teflex sheet. Dehydrate at 145 for 2 hours. Turn the temperature down to 115 and dehydrate for an additional 12 hours or until desired moisture is achieved.

I can't wait to try this! Figs are my favorite, but I never thought to use them in a fruit leather!
