Yummy Chocolate Date Shake
dates
3 dates, pitted
1 tablespoon raw tahini (or more)
3 tablespoon carob
powder, or raw cocoa powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon (or more!)
1 cup ice + a bit of h20
3 tablespoon cacao nibs
Alright. Use a blender OR food processor.
First blend the dates, then add everything else. Food process till you are satisfied with the smoothness.
Enjoy!
okay, I admit, I have made this with coffee, chilled. And it is delicious. But if you are 100% raw foodie, coffee is not technically raw. Perhaps you would prefer a superfood, such as
maca ;)
also..maybe a frozen banana would be good in here, or some peanut butter. maybe you’d like almond milk instead of h20. Or add a little bit of coconut flakes.Some vanilla…?

food recipes are. Just, mix in what you think would be good…substitute….have fun. You are your own gourmet chef, or, mad scientist, if you would prefer. It is difficult to mess up a smoothie. K. Off you go, to the kitchen!

Welcome :) Ah yes. I live off smoothies too...I actually made this smoothie tonight. And added a bit of banana... I love the part of being a raw vegan that is about having a certain array of staple ingredients that can be tossed together to make the most wonderful last-minute creation. It is borderline magical.
