Figs and Blackberry Sauce
Serves 1
Beautiful vibrant purple sauce poured over fresh figs. A seasonal delight!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup blackberries
- 1 banana
- 1/4 vanilla bean
- pinch salt
- 3 fresh ripe figs
Preparation
Cut the figs into quarters then slice into 1/8s. Place in a bowl. To make the sauce, place blackberries, banana, vanilla and salt into blender. Add a little water about 1/4 pint. Blend and pour over figs. Dust with lucuma powder or carob flour. Yum. It’s even better if you’ve been out picking your blackberries, they are in season just now over here in the UK.
