Serves 1.

Whether you’re very busy and in or a rush, or a poor college kid who can’t afford a decadent dessert, or just new to raw foods and are still hungry after a salad (or all three!), this is the snack/dessert for you. It’s simple and sweet. I got this recipe from my sister. It’s a lot like elizabeth’s “Chewy Banana Oaties” but without the oaties…

Ingredients

  • 1 banana
  • raw honey
  • sunflower seeds

Preparation

Peel the banana, drizzle the honey over it, and sprinkle with sunflower seeds. Simple!

You can also lightly sprinkle cinnamon on top. Or raisins. Or make a face on the banana with the sunflower seeds/raisins. :)

I use tupelo honey that I get from my town’s weekly farmers’ market.

I do something similar to this too. I use bananas, walnuts, cacao nibs and agave nectar and stir and eat to my hearts content!!!

Yum! This is better than PB & bananas ‘cause the sunflower seeds have an awesome texture!
