1 pie

This is my first raw recipe! It is really easy and very tasty.

Ingredients

  • 1¼ cups hazelnuts
  • ½ cup agave syrup
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon coconut butter
  • 6 dates
  • ½ banana
  • 8 dates
  • 2 tablespoons coconut butter
  • ¼ cup water
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • 6 strawberries, sliced

Preparation

For the pie crust: combine the first 6 ingredients in the food processor until crumbly. Dump in a pie pan and press into the mold. Place in the freezer for 15 minutes.

For the filling: Combine the next 5 ingredients in the food processor until creamy. Add more water if needed.

putting it together: Arrange the sliced banana and strawberry on top of the pie crust. Pour the filling over the fruit and spread. Place in the freezer for 20 minutes and serve!

Wow this recipe looks easy! I’ll definately try it tomorrow. One question though, will the the pie be too hard if it was in the freezer longer than 20 minutes??

Samilicious- If you want it to be firmer you can leave it in the freezer. I wanted it to be around pudding consistency…Also after the 20 minutes in the freezer I moved it to the fridge:-)
