Caramel Sauce

Makes 1 1/2 cups

I wasn’t sure how many dates to put in this-I’ll update when I make this. Too many dates will make caramel paste, not enough dates will make it gross coconutty flavor, so just use your taste buds. This I cannot wait to try! :)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups completely liquefied coconut oil
  • some dates, mashed around a bit to soften
  • 6 tablespoons raw agave nectar
  • ¾ cup raw soaked almond or brazil nut milk

Preparation

Blend everything in your vita-mix till completely smooth. Store in the refrigerator, and thaw before using.
