Raw Almond Butter Stuffed Chocolate Figs
These can be purchased at rawguru.com. But if you want to make alot of them, here’s my best idea of how they make them.
Ingredients
- raw figs
- raw almond butter
- 1 cup raw cocoa butter, liquefied in dehydrator for 4 hours
- ¼ cup raw cocoa powder
- ¼ cup raw agave nectar
Preparation
First, pit the figs, and hollow them out a bit. Stuff the inside with almond butter, and make the chocolate coating. Blend the liquefied cocoa butter, cocoa powder, and agave till creamy smooth. Drench and mix the stuffed figs in the liquid chocolate, trying as quickly as possible because the cocoa butter will harden quickly. Freeze the figs for a few minutes, and voila!

you should open up a raw bakery/dessert shop or creamery lol I dont know where you live but if this kind of thing was in Colorado you could bet I would be there everyday :-)

Maybe you could open a shop in MD. Is there any good raw places in MD?
rawclaire writes: (February 26, 2008)
Well I will once I’m 18. I’m only 14 now, I’ll pretty soon. How do you open up a shop like that? I’m gonna do it when I can!
rawclaire writes: (February 26, 2008)
That was a joke-and a typing error, sorry. I’m 34, not 14, I’m not that good of a typer, especially with numbers. lol The “I’ll wait till I’m 18” was a joke. I do want to open up a raw ice cream shop-dessert pastry shop, or anything else like that! I just have to figure out how :)

That is quite a tricky proposition. So many things to consider. Well maybe it’ll make for a nice forum post, you young whipperschnapper you.
