Creamy banana treat
serves 1
This is soooo good when I am craving ice cream. I know, it’s very simple, but I am working on getting more adventurous with uncooking. I love to be in the kitchen and prepare food, but right now I am a little short on equipment and ingredients. I can’t wait to get going in this raw food adventure and get creative here. Anyway, about the recipe. It makes a perfect individual serving and it’s so simple and delicious!!!!
Ingredients
- 1 frozen banana
- as much chopped almonds as desired
- maple syrup, honey or some other sweetener
Preparation
Run the banana through a juicer with the blank plate in(best method) or puree in a blender. Put the creamy banana in a bowl and stir to make it really creamy and good. Sprinkle with nuts and drizzle with your choice of sweetener. Dig in!!!!!! You could also use the chocolate syrup recipe I saw on this site and drizzle that on top instead for a choco-banana treat. Banana ice cream is so versatile, I love it. You can really add whatever you want to it. (:

This sounds delicious. Do you think I could blend in the almonds in my vita-mix instead of mixing them in? It might be interesting.

Yeah, I think that would work. Good idea…tell me how it is?
