Just Another Ant on a Log
1 lovely snack
Craving the sweet and salty thing, I put this together. Measurements and ingredients are very optional. Kids love it!
Ingredients
- 3 celery stalks, if very stringy, shave the strings with a veggie peeler
- 1 tablespoon walnut butter (Artisana Raw rocks!), you can also make your own or use cashew butter
- 1 juicy pitted date
- ⅓ banana
- 1 tablespoon hemp seeds, optional
- 1 sprinkle himalayan salt
- 1 teaspoon coconut butter (did I mention Artisana?)
- raisins, currents, coconut flakes,dried cherries, etc.
Preparation
Mush up everything except the raisins and celery.Fill the celery (or skip the celery and eat with a spoon!) with the mixture and top with raisins, etc.

Hope you like it. I have to admit, after the first two stalks, I just ate the rest as-is out of the bowl. It is just sweet enough to do it…the little bit of salt balances it nicely IMHO :)

Great recipe…I’m definitely going to try this the next time I get groceries! I might use cranberries instead of raisins.
