Well it being Passover and all…I thought I’d add this delish sidedish!

Ingredients

  • 1 apple (any kind), peeled, sliced, cored
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts
  • ½ teaspoon raw agave necter or date water
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon raw grape juice

Preparation

Chop apple very finely.

Mix all dry ingredients

Add the liquids.

Serve on crackers or by the spoonful. It’s a good dessert after salad too. It symbolizes the mortar used by the Hebrews while enslaved in Egypt.

How sweet! I made something similar for seder. And it was the hit of the dinner. Happy Pesach.

I did not use raw grape juice…because I needed to make a TON of it and don’t own a juicer…so used organic (cooked) stuff from Whole Foods…but if I were just making one recipe…I’d just squish enough grapes to fill a tablespoon…can’t be too hard…grapes are pretty juicy :).
