Remoulade Sauce
Makes about 1 cup
A zesty remoulade sauce to go with my veggie nuggets (see my profile for that recipe). I bet they would go great with the onion ring recipe in the recipe archive too!
(I also like to eat this on “crazy bread” with sliced zucchini)
Ingredients
- ⅓ cup macadamia nuts
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 6 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 lime, juiced
- ¼ cup water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon dried cilantro
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
Preparation
Blend all ingredients in food processor or vita-mix until smooth.

I just made this. Nice flavor, but i ended up adding some Agave to take away the acidity. Next time i make this, i’ll use just the Lime or just the ACV, not both. Good flavor. Pine nuts would work well too… Also, instead of Agave, i bet a little fresh orange juice or a few segments would be great too… just some ideas :) My nuggets are dehydrating. will post comment on nuggets later tonight – can’t wait!!!
