Summer Bliss Mood Smoothie

Makes 1 glass

Enjoy sipping while soaking in the warm summer sunshine!

Ingredients

  • ¼ sweet ripe cantaloupe, small chunks, frozen
  • ½ Lg sweet ripe banana
  • ½ tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon flaxseed oil

Preparation

Blend 1/4 cantaloupe (or a couple handfuls), half of a Lg. ripe banana, cinnamon and flaxseed oil with just enough cold water to make a thick, smooth, creamy, sexy delight! Serve in a delicate wine glass with a slice of banana on the rim. Allow to sit a few minutes until thaws just a little so you don’t freeze your buns off! It’s sooo delicious!!! Cantaloupe is known for it’s mood uplifting properties. This recipe is kind of a kick-off of the one by FreedomYou, except I just tossed in the half of the banana since I had no dates or agave on hand, and it tasted really good! The flaxseed oil made it creamier, too. No problems on the stomach with this one for me, either.

NOTE-If you prefer not to mix the melon with other fruit such as banana (yes, I know, melon should be enjoyed by itself), then add agave or dates to sweeten.

nice summer smoothie, it was nice to try something lite and cool. I went to your profile and the background in your picture looks exactly like a campground in Kokomo, IN. I got a good recipe and a great memory refresher. thanks lauraj.

Hi dalu, thanks for trying my recipe! The background in the previous pic I had up was actually taken in SA in a park where I was hiking. Great memories!
