Ice Recipes
This recipe really surprised me. It came out super thick and rich without being too strong of one flavor. I was definately craving my boyfriend’s box of Reese’s Puffs and after making this, I have absolutely no clue what I was thinking! Don’t be naughty and eat unraw! Eat this instead!
I absolutely love durian. This recipe would be good as a pudding, make it thicker for an icing or freeze for an ice cream. I’m not sure if the spinach adds to the flavour, I originally added it for additional nutrition and I haven’t tried it without it yet.
A yummy twist to your basic ice cream sandwich!
This shake is very similar to the ones you find at the store. I took the ingredients off the container from Glaser Farms. They are an awsome organic raw food farm in Miami.
Bmore and enjoy!

If you are looking for rich creamy ice cream that’s chocolaty this is it. I really enjoyed rich ice cream before going raw and this does not disappoint. Add more chocolate if you are a chocoholic as this recipe more subtle. Taste before you freeze. Soft and creamy not icy at all.
Tastes just like Thin Mint Girl Scout cookies..I swear.
This ice cream incorporates the refreshing mouth-cooling peppermint, and rich rich cacao-chocolate…an awesome treat for anytime and for always!!
This is a creamy chocolate treat that is great alone or in my “Pie Crust”. My whole non-raw family likes it, too!
Oh yes. It tastes like a banana split. All mixed together so your mouth doesn’t have to do the work. Ripe bananas with chocolate and walnuts…oh my!!
When deciding what flavor to explore with my young coconuts, a smooth, rich, creamy orange creamsicle was the first I could think of. I had no idea, however, it would turn out so good. It tastes just like a creamsicle from the Good Humor truck, but you’ll never believe it until you taste it! It looks just like it too. Also, you don’t need anything else to add to the coconut base because the orange balances out the coconut flavor.
PS I pictured this in a coconut bowl I made!
I know – another ice cream “recipe”. I just have to share the flavor idea beause it came out Absolutely Divine! Tastes like frozen cool whip and chilled sweet potato pie, whipped together!
Perfect treat for a HOT summer day!
This shake was so flavorful and refreshing. A great way to use up the raw ice cream I made (Heidi Ohlunder’s recipe). It’s easy to make too.
This ice cream is interesting and sweet. Of course, it’s not for everyday because it has nothing good for you, but it’s great if you’re looking for something lightly chocolate and yummy!
This is a HEAVENLY ice cream! Luv says it tastes like the Brazil Nut Chocolate Gelato that she tried at Whole Foods before we went RAW. Very Yummy! Hope you like it.
Inspired by Shazzie’s recipe “The Great Glass Elevator”.
Enjoy! But don’t eat before a job interview or a first date . . .
NICE SWEET, FROZEN TREAT FOR THOS HOT SUMMER DAYS! THESE TASTE LIKE THOSE NON-RAW FRUIT POPS (BUT BETTER!)
This is soooo good when I am craving ice cream. I know, it’s very simple, but I am working on getting more adventurous with uncooking. I love to be in the kitchen and prepare food, but right now I am a little short on equipment and ingredients. I can’t wait to get going in this raw food adventure and get creative here. Anyway, about the recipe. It makes a perfect individual serving and it’s so simple and delicious!!!!
this ice cream has won the hearts of my friends and family who would have never consider eating raw foods before ! so good!!!!
JUST LIKE WHEN YOU WERE A KID! CHOCOLATELY PUDDING POPS!
Adapted from Carol Alts Raw 50. This awesome vanilla base is great for any malt/shake fruits!
I found this a long time ago from a website on the internet, I’m sorry that I don’t have the source but I’m just going to tell you that it’s not my recipe. The picture is not mine either, but I’ve been making these for weeks and they are great! Enjoy!
This INCREDIBLE Ice Cream was inspired by skyespice’s “Chocolate Banana Cream” recipe. We had already eaten our chocolate quota, but wanted more yummy ice cream, so this recipe emerged! It tastes sooooo carmelly! If you miss those delicious carmel candy ice creams, then you’re sure to love this!! (I know it’s November, but it’s 85 degrees where we live.)
Thanks to the oreo cookies recipe on this site, this is awesome! Superman!, let me know if this is your type of thing!
This is so refreshing, I made it ;last night when I had nothing else to eat. You’ll probablt going to eat all of it!
This recipe is for my Dad, hes a butter pecan freak! I like this recipe to any you get in the store, as it doesnt have that cloyingly sweet, rich, stick in your throat quality that the “real’ stuff does….
FREE ICE CREAM FREEZER If you haven’t an ice cream maker yet and want to try some good raw stuff, this is a simple way to make it with no investment. You probably have a friend or relative with the coffee cans if you don’t have any and just small ice from your freezer ice maker. I think you can use just cheapo table salt also instead of rock salt.
This is a very sweet and delicious treat to have. I love making Heidi Ohlunder’s basic raw Vanilla Iced Cream to eat, and it tastes great in this shake! But you could use any raw Vanilla Iced Cream recipe available. Everyone always does Strawberry Kiwi, so my sister saw my fresh blueberries and thought, “Why not blueberries?!”. We whipped one up and Oh Yum! Tart, but yummy!
