Noodles Recipes
the best part about raw food for me is tasting all these new flavors, unheard of in the realm of the COOKED. i was making a chili sauce and added a little too much cinnamon… loved the result! it’s VERY interesting.
Pasta that tastes like the real thing!
Has a really delicious and authentic noodle flavour, so quick and easy to make, and SOOO delicious. i love it!
I have been transitioning to raw for the last 4-5 weeks, mainly for health/weight reasons but since I have found this website – now for wonderful taste reasons – thank you all so much for the inspiration and variety, I feel truly blessed. I made this last night and can I say kelp noodles are truly a Godly gift. I almost could not tell the difference between them (after soaking) and ramen noodles. (Must soak otherwise hard and crunchy.) I found them at my local Asian supermarket in the cold section; made by Sea Tangle – you can also find them on line. Translucent=raw – green=cooked.
I was watching an episode of Seinfeld called “The Chinese Restaurant”, and experienced a big craving for some kind of greasy Chinese food, like my favorite udon noodles. With this in mind, I went into my kitchen to open up a young coconut to drink, and found the meat, which I had planned to blend with the water, to be very firm. That’s when the gears started turning and I came up with this, which turned out delightfully similar to the oily Chinese variety, for those moments when you’re all, “I’VE GOTTA HAVE ME SOME LO MEIN!!!” Now to the recipe.
Delicate pasta is paired with a sweet, creamy almond sauce.
The BEST Fettuccine Alfredo I have EVER tasted. Tastes so much like the real thing. And to think I made it by mistake!
Inspired by something I read on the Rawmodel blog.
