We'll be working on some minor updates to the website tonight. Expect it to be down for an hour or two. You shouldn't notice much difference, the changes are software-related and should just help things work a bit better.

Reason I ask is that I can't find my recipes and on my page there are other pps.....

I haven't seen any comments by Kandace or Ray about collating recipes on the profiles (might have missed it, though). It is possible to sort recipes by inventor, but it's a bit cumbersome if the inventor's name falls to far from the beginning or end of the alphabet.. Here's the link to Site Use Tips and HInts. Ray, will the map feature return sometime in the future? I notice the longitude and latitude designations are still in the profiles. This was a real neat and "fun" feature. Hope you can get it back up.

RE: Clickable links in recipes and threads posted BEFORE the update
Ray, the links that were tied to recipes within Gone Raw now just take us to the Recipe section. Sometimes I take the time to find the recipe (or thread), sometimes not. When we do find the recipes / threads would there be any value in our pasting the URL into the "Feedback" link from the page where the clickable link no longer works? If so, is just the URL sufficient?

I'm wondering where we can post requests or suggestions about the new site format?
I'm having several issues since the upgrade, and I am finding I come to the site less and less. I used to be able to search recipes by ingredient and tons of recipes came up for each thing - now when I do, either I use the regular search and get all sorts of forum topics I don't want, or if I use advance search I get one recipe, or maybe none. I find this VERy frustrating - I mean I just did an advanced search for the phrase 'coconut water' and got the same recipe I got when I searched for 'vanilla cake'. and it was the ONLY recipe that came up both times.
In the old format I never had trouble finding ANY recipe that I was looking for, for anything.
Please switch back. I miss the old user-friendly version of goneraw.
chasmyn~ Sorry it has not been a smooth transition for you to the new website format. There are a lot of cool features that have been implemented. Check out a thread that emtpdmom has worked tirelessly to create that lists some tips and hints that might help you.
As for feedback, the best method is to use the "Feedback" link in the lower right corner of the page when one is logged in. It has a left bracket, plus sign, right bracket to the left of the word "Feedback". It is easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. An alternative way to send feedback to Ray and Kandace is via email at the address listed when one clicks on the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the page. Currently, I don't see the "Contact Us" link... This might be a hiccup for me or a general site hiccup...
Chasmyn - Just to echo what Bluedolfin has already said . . . The search engine is really quite powerful now. I'm working on tips for doing a really refined search. I"ll try to finish it up and post this evening, time permitting. If not, I'll definitely post this weekend. Look for it in the Site Use Tips and Hints thread. Pane #3 lists some Advanced Search tips. I'll probably add the refinements there.

I think the advantage with this new link is that it ties comments to a specific page. It's certainly easier to send a comment and not have to describe the page you were on.
