'Cheesy' Curry Sauce

I tried to make a sauce from Rawsome by Brigette Mars for Mac N' Cheese. I was short a few ingredients and made some changes. What I ended up with was a rich and complex curry sauce that has a cheesy flavor and a subtle curry punch. Its fantastic and goes with just about anything. I used it in cabbage rolls and threw it over veggies. Plus I made zucchini noodles and had what I like to call Mac N' Cheese with a twist. YUM!!

Raw Curried Carrot Soup

I’m not a huge fan of just drinking carrot juice, so when I had some leftover from making Raw ‘Tuna’ Salad yesterday I had to come up with a tasty recipe for all that leftover carrot juice.

I’m a huge an of curry so I searched the web for some inspiration for a carrot curry kind of soup. I got some ideas, but mostly just messed around with ingredients until I ended up with this Raw Curried Carrot Soup. Simple to make, nice subtle curry flavor, plus a little zing from the ginger. Awesome as a cold soup, and I’m probably going to try it as a salad dressing today.

In my efforts to make the raw chocolate halvah, I realized I was super low on cocoa powder, ouch! Fortunately, however, I've decided bumps in the road like that are perfect opportunities to get creative so I started experimenting with some other ingredients until I had something worth eating! I started adding vanilla, then threw in some coconut oil, plus the little bit of cocoa powder that I did have. The nutty sesame flavor mixed with the chocolate, coconut, and vanilla give these little "truffles" a malted chocolate flavor that really surprised (and delighted) me. Definitely a successful endeavor, enjoy!
