Asian Slaw
So basically I just got home from college for the weekend and arrived to see beautiful veggies that my mom bought me! Not having access to good raw food for awhile I needed to make a delicious creation for dinner and this is what I came up with.
Study Without A Headache Juice!
This is the juice to make when you have severe insomnia (like I do) but can't catch up with your sleep because you have a lot to study for AND a speech to rehearse (like I do) and are developing a headache or migraine (like I am - NO! WAS!).
I find that with this juice, which I'm drinking right now, the carotenoids are easily absorbed for a great enzyme boost, so there's some nice energy there, and the ginger is keeping those nasty prostaglandins at bay, helping to cure my headache! I'M READY FOR THE DAY!
Down with over-the-counter mumbo jumbo they all call medicine! Nature is the way! Right on!
Summer Rolls
I just decided this afternoon to put anything good I could find in my fridge into a nori sheet...and it turned out amazingly.
Colorful vegetable dish
We had some guests over at the weekend and I prepared some hot dishes, cakes and, of course, many kinds of raw food. This colorful vegetable dish was the most interesting, beautiful and tasty food of all. Even my omnivorous guests tried it and sure they were surprised at how yummy it was and they all wanted to know the ingredients.
This is my first recipe on goneraw
Coconut Rainbow Salad
Fresh daikon, bell peppers, spinach, cabbage and carrots covered in coconut-chili-pineapple sauce and garnished with herbs, scallions, and fresh fruit. I made this salad out of a bunch of produce I had sitting in the fridge--I really liked this combination but I am sure other veggies and/or fruits would be delicious as well!
