THis recipe is simple and quick to prepare!
And especially great if you are trying to get your kids to eat healthier. (:
This is a super quick, easy dip/spread. This could be served as a veggie dip, or as a dressing (add a little water to thin.) You could add a little nutritional yeast to the radish dip for a cheesier flavor. I would love to eat this as a sandwich between two slices of raw onion bread, lettuce, brandywine tomato slice, grated carrot and sprouts. Yum!
I wanted to try out the young coconut wrappers I see in Matthew Kenney's new book, but didn't want to put a savory cashew filling inside. I mixed up this fudge spread (would be great with a little chopped hazenuts) and ended up with a sweet and salty thing going.
I made the No-Bake Cookie recipe by MammaCassa from this site for lunch today. As I'm munching, I thought if I powdered the oat groats, I would end up with a batter. Yummy! Dehydrate until top is crisp and you have a warm, soft brownie. Plunk a scoop of raw vanilla ice cream on top! Or eat it right out of the bowl! Go ahead!
