This is a very simple recipe. Really tasty banana bread, a very nice treat. It was kind of an experiment (I was looking for ways to get rid of my excess almond meal) and it turned out perfectly!
You may choose to add a 1/4 cup of cacao nibs or coconut, I didn’t try to but I thought it might be a good addition. I spread some almond butter on top as an icing, which made the dessert taste just right.
Unfortunately I don’t own a dehydrator so I cheat a little by having the oven on very low heat with the door open. It came out nicely after a few hours.
I found this recipe in the forum. It was given by Om, who I asked via the forum if I could post it. I didn’t hear from her, but this recipe is just too good not to share. I changed it a little bit.
I ate the tortillas with a little smashed avo, fresh tomato and shredded carrots. I am going to try making enchiladas next. When I do, I’ll post a picture. For now you can imagine a dark green flour tortilla, these are flexible and strong enough to hold fillings. Thanks, Om!
Heaven on a piece of heaven topped with a slice of heaven! I was really missing meatballs, and I wanted something with a similar taste, texture, and protein content that meatballs imbue. Here it is!
