This is a very filling, comforting soup and would be a lovely appetizer for Thanksgiving. It is also very quick and easy! I have been making so many soups lately because cold weather is approaching and this is definitely one of my favourites.
Looking for a quick, sweet, and filling snack?? New to raw and don’t have many tools or skills? Try these easy celery sticks filled with tahini and dates. Can also be made on cucumbers and you can also use nut butter or nut/seed cheese instead of the tahini. Very filling! I’ve even eaten these for a quick lunch.
I was in the middle of making carrot cake when I was overcome with the desire to create a pineapple cake instead. So, this is essentially carrot cake icing with a bunch of stuff added. It was so easy, and it turned out wonderful! A great tropical breakfast or dessert! Very sweet!

The sweetness of the figs balances the acid of the tomatoes
The secret is letting it sit overnight in the fridge so the tomatoes and oil can work together.
Super easy to whip up the day before you serve it over spiral cut veggie noodles, chopped broccoli, or any other vege you like.
Crumbled rye manna bread makes this a heavier, warmer dish for fall or winter.
Serve at room temperature over ice cold veges for a textural treat.
